Who We Are
The Galveston Firefighters Association was chartered in August 1919 and is currently comprised of the entire uniformed force of the Galveston Fire Department. We exist to serve the citizens, businesses, and industry of Galveston, Texas.
Our association strives to foster and encourage the highest degree of professionalism, skill and efficiency, as well as a cultivation of friendship and fellowship among our members. Our primary focus is to support our members in ensuring we deliver excellence in public safety to the residents, businesses, and visitors of Galveston.

The Galveston Fire Fighters Association Local 571 has proudly represented Galveston's bravest for more than a century. I'm humbled by the opportunity to serve as president of our association and build on the foundation that has been laid by our predecessors who were part of the first full-time professional fire department in Texas.
